In addition to the dedication ceremony, serveral class and family reunions are planned for that weekend.
The lot neighboring the Heron Lake Community Center was cleared for the Veterans Memorial in November of 2011, and the stones were prepared and put into place in the fall of 2014.
Since that time, members of the committee have been finalizing plans for the dedication ceremony, in addition to preparing the Memorial book which will be offered.
